Description
Ornate faux marble stairway in the abandoned railway station on 16th St. in Oakland, California. The station was built built in 1912 for the Southern Pacific Railroad and later used by Amtrak before closing in August of 1994. The stairway was not part of the original structure and was added in 2012 for filming of the movie Hemingway and Gellhorn where it was portrayed as a Spanish Hotel.
